Peter Gillard & Co. Ltd. will debut a new extrusion rotary cutter and servo coiler at K 2013.
The Servo-Torq Plus combines a brushless AC servo motor with a fully digital control system to activate the knife blade. Very high cut rates are possible, with precise accuracy of the cut length.
The news cutters are available in three maximum-diamweter sixes: 3-0 mm, 40 mm abnd 100 mm. Gillard provides matching twin-belt Accra-Feed caterpillar infeeder/pullers to match every machine. Multiple lane configurations are available to handle up to six separate extrusions.
